Ainsworth Regional Airport Awarded 2021 Airport Improvement Project of the Year

Lance Schipporeit (center), Manager of the Ainsworth Regional Airport, Drake Harrington (left) and Curt Christianson (right), both of Olsson, accept an award for the 2021 Airport Improvement Project of the Year at the Nebraska 30th Annual Aviation Symposium on January 27th in Kearney. Not pictured are representatives from Werner Construction. The project winning the award was Ainsworth’s $7 million rehabilitation of Runway 17-35, Taxiways A, B, C & Apron Pavement, which was completed in November 2021.
