Gov. Ricketts Designates US-20 as “Nebraska Medal of Honor Highway”

On Friday, January 31st, Governor Pete Ricketts signed paperwork to formally name Nebraska’s section of U.S. Highway 20 as the “Nebraska Medal of Honor Highway.” The signing took place on Veterans Legislative Day, an annual event at the State Capitol for veterans and veteran service organizations to learn about veteran - and militaryrelated legislation.

Lincoln, NE (January 31, 2020) - Three Nebraska based John Deere dealerships announced plans to merge their businesses. Green Line Equipment, Stutheit Implement, and Plains Equipment Group are combining forces to provide leading service, support, and product solutions to farmers, ranchers and landowners. The newly formed corporation named AKRS Equipment Solutions (“AKRS Equipment”) symbolizes trust, commitment, and innovation in agriculture. The companies plan to officially close on the deal by the end of March 2020.

Long Pine City Council Approves Part-Time Wage at $15.00 Per Hour, Subdivision, Building Permit and Upgrading City Shop Camera System

Long Pine City Council Members - Linda Alberts, Aaron Miller and Kathy Papstein approved the consent agenda, part-time wage, subdivision, building permit, upgrading the camera at the City Shop and listened to reports. Councilwoman Theresa LeMunyan was absent.
