COVID Guidelines- Volleyball

Teams:

  • Visiting teams will be responsible for monitoring and documenting temps before leaving home.    If this does not occur we ask that you let us know and we will have a person available to do so when arriving at our facilities.  Coaches will sign-off  that they have verified temperatures of the entire travelling party when they arrive.  
  • Masks are highly encouraged by team members, coaching staff, etc.  Do know that based on recommendations by the NSAA and the health departments this could change in a moment's notice. (Please have masks available if we were to change to mandatory masks.)
  • Visiting teams will enter through the front doors of the building.  You will be assigned a locker room that will contain the shower and restroom that we would like you to use.
  • During a volleyball contest, teams will be assigned a bench area.  They will remain in this bench area for the entire contest (no switching of benches).  Bench areas will be sanitized after the match is completed (if a new team is going to occupy the area).
  • Each team will have the first row of bleachers behind their bench for players not participating.
  • Two rows will be left as a barrier zone just behind the team benches and the first row of fans. 
  • Players should not enter the stands to visit and greet fans prior to or after the game.  
  • The use of the masks is highly encouraged at our scorers table (clock operators, bookkeeper, and libero tracker).
  • There is a water bottle filling station located in the hallway out the northwest corner of the gym.  Please use this filling station to fill all water bottles. 
  • No post-game handshake will be allowed.
  • Teams will not be allowed to feed their athletes in our facilities.  This includes ordering pizza, crock pots, lunches, etc.  

 

Fans:

  • Fans entering the facility are highly encouraged to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
  • Everyone entering the facility will have a temperature screen.  Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or above will not be admitted.   If exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not enter our facilities.
  • Home teams will be directed to the bleachers located on the west side and the southeast corner of the gym.  
  • Visiting teams will be directed to the bleachers located on the northeast corner of the gym.  
  • Fans/patrons/parents should not enter the gym floor area before, during or after the game.
  • The first row of bleachers should not be used unless needed for handicap seating.
  • Home cheerleaders will be located on the south side of our gymnasium.  Visiting cheerleaders will be located on the north side of the gym.  Cheerleaders should not come close to the sport huddle.
  • Families are asked to sit together and be at least six feet from the nearest spectators when possible. 
  • The student section is for Ainsworth 7-12 grade students only.  Although not mandatory, masks are highly encouraged and seating will be every other row of the bleachers.  Students younger than 7th grade are to sit with his/her parents in the stands.  
  • We will have a concession stand.  All workers will wear masks and gloves to serve.  Anyone purchasing something from the concession stand will be asked to wear a mask. 
  • Once a spectator purchases their food or drink item, it is requested that they return to their seat before consuming the purchased items.  No eating in the cafeteria adjacent to the concession stand. 
  • Anyone using the restroom is asked to wear a mask.
  • Hand sanitizer will be located in the concession area, benches, scorer’s table and every locker room.
  • At the conclusion of the game, teams and fans are asked to leave the complex and not socialize. 

 

COVID Guidelines- Football

Teams:

  • Visiting teams will be responsible for monitoring and documenting temps before leaving home.    If this does not occur we ask that you let us know and we will have a person available to do so when arriving at our facilities.  Coaches will sign-off  that they have verified temperatures of the entire travelling party when they arrive.  
  • Masks are highly encouraged by team members, coaching staff, etc.  Do know that based on recommendations by the NSAA and the health departments this could change in a moment's notice. (Please have masks available if we were to change to mandatory masks.)
  • Visiting teams will locker and have showers at the Ainsworth Community Center locker rooms.  These locker rooms will be cleaned, disinfected and sanitized before your arrival.     
  • Players should not enter the stands to visit and greet fans prior to or after the game. 
  • We encourage the use of masks while in the press box.  
  • No post-game handshake will be allowed.

  • If exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not enter our facilities.
  • Home teams will be directed to the bleachers on the north side of the football field.
  • Visiting teams will be directed to the bleachers located on the south side of the field. 
  • Fans/patrons/parents should not enter the football field area before, during or after the game.
  • Home cheerleaders will be located on the north side of the field.  Visiting cheerleaders will be located on the south side of the field.

  • People are asked not to stand in front of the concession stand to eliminate unnecessary congestion. 
  • Families are asked to sit together and be at least six feet from the nearest spectators when possible. 
  • Restrooms are located southwest of the football field.  Anyone using the restroom is asked to wear a mask.
  • The student section in the north bleachers is for Ainsworth 7-12 grade students only.  Although not mandatory, masks are highly encouraged and seating will be every other row of the bleachers.  Students younger than 7th grade are to sit with his/her parents in the stands.  
  • Hand sanitizer will be located in the concession area and restrooms.
  • The at-risk population may find it safer to park outside the fence and watch the game from their vehicle.  We ask those planning to sit in the bleachers to park in an area other than those directly around the area of the track.  
  • At the conclusion of the game, teams and fans are asked to leave the complex and not socialize. 

 

 

COVID Guidelines- Girls Golf

Teams:

  • Visiting teams will be responsible for monitoring and documenting temps before leaving home.    If this does not occur we ask that you let us know and we will have a person available to do so when arriving at our facilities.  Coaches will sign-off  that they have verified temperatures of the entire travelling party when they arrive.  
  • Masks are highly encouraged by team members, coaching staff, etc.  Do know that based on recommendations by the NSAA and the health departments this could change in a moment's notice. (Please have masks available if we were to change to mandatory masks for common areas such as clubhouses, restrooms, etc.)
  • Please encourage your athletes to socially distance themselves from members of other teams.  Conversations are okay but should happen only at extended distances  (at least 6 feet away).
  • Players should limit their time in the clubhouse.  Those that come into the clubhouse are asked to wear masks.  Those that buy food or drink items are asked to leave the clubhouse before consuming those items.  
  • We have visited with the NSAA and have discussed a plan so that we can safely provide an awards ceremony.   As a result there will be some modifications to the area in which they will be held.  Students may come and receive his/her medal that will be stationed at socially distanced intervals.  We will provide more information on this the day of the  meet.  Make athletes and your entire team aware that they can opt out of the awards ceremony if they would like.

  • Concessions will be available inside the clubhouse. Anyone purchasing something from the concession stand is asked to wear a mask.
  • Please limit total time in the clubhouse and when possible please consume food and drink outside.  
  • Hand sanitizer will be located in the clubhouse.

 

COVID Guidelines- Cross Country

Teams:

  • Visiting teams will be responsible for monitoring and documenting temps before leaving home.    If this does not occur we ask that you let us know and we will have a person available to do so when arriving at our facilities.  Coaches will sign-off  that they have verified temperatures of the entire travelling party when they arrive.  
  • Masks are highly encouraged by team members, coaching staff, etc.  Do know that based on recommendations by the NSAA and the health departments this could change in a moment's notice. (Please have masks available if we were to change to mandatory masks for common areas such as clubhouses, restrooms, etc.)
  • Team camps are to be set-up in a way that keeps teams separate.  Please encourage your athletes to socially distance themselves from members of other teams.  Conversations are okay but should happen only at extended distances (at least 6 feet away).
  • Teams will be called near the starting line in the minutes before the start of the race. All even numbered starting boxes will have a second box, off the starting line, in which runners are to be housed and checked for proper attire.  Just before the start of the race the even number teams will be called to the starting line. 
  • We have visited with the NSAA and have discussed a plan so that we can safely provide an awards ceremony.   As a result there will be some modifications to the area in which they will be held.  Students may come and receive his/her medal that will be stationed at socially distanced intervals.  We will provide more information on this the day of the  meet.  Make athletes and your entire team aware that they can opt out of the awards ceremony if they would like.  

 

Fans:

  • Fans entering the course are highly encouraged to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.  This is especially important in the clubhouse area. 
  • If exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not enter our facilities.
  • Cones and a  second painted boundary line will be used to create a further than usual barrier from the runners.  This effort is being made to create an extended safety zone.
  • Concessions will be available inside the clubhouse. Anyone purchasing something from the concession stand is asked to wear a mask.
  • Please limit total time in the clubhouse and when possible please consume food and drink outside.  
  • Hand sanitizer will be located in the clubhouse.
