The cheer and dance teams continue to improve as state competition approaches

The GHS cheer and dance teams traveled to Faulkton on Monday, October 8, going up against some different teams and judges that they haven’t seen yet this year. With state competition being ten days away, this was good for the team to see others that they will be competing against.

The girls had to adjust all four routines last minute when a teammate was ill and couldn’t attend. With this sport, you can’t just throw a girl in last minute without knowing that particular part. As a coach I was very proud of how attentive our alternates were and how they stepped up and filled the gaps well.
