Storm takes no prisoners in wins against Chamberlain, Colome

The South Central Storm men’s amateur baseball team dominated the Chamberlain Mallards at home Thursday, June 4, adding a 12-2 win to the books.

The offense was led by Aaron Sundquist, who had recorded a 1.000 average for the evening at bat. Bats were hot that evening for Blake Hoffman, Jayd VanDer-Werff, Aaron Vomacka, and Paul Taggart also as each recorded multiple hits in the winning cause, contributing to 16 team hits.

Not to be outdone, the team’s defense shut down their opponents as Taggart struck out 16 of the batters he faced, allowing only four hits and two walks.
