Board of Equalization only heard one appeal

The regular meeting of the Gregory City Council was held Monday, March 18, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the Gregory City Hall.

Snow, rain, snow, potholes are the story

Mat Braun kicked off the department head reports. Getting water to drain and keep draining has kept his crew busy lately. The next big item on his radar is street repair. They will be trying to fill potholes as soon as they can. Mayor Scott Anshutz commented that drainage is always going to be a problem because the town is flat. The recent 1.3 inches of rain with snow on top of it caused problems everywhere in town.

Studenberg wants to see track used

Seymour Studenberg questioned where snow would be dumped if football were a spring sport, pointing out that the school has more money invested in the track than in ten football fields. Braun said that they are trying to knock it down without tearing up the parking lot. They have been using other dumping locations in addition to the parking lot at the athletic field.
