3.5-Magnitude Earthquake Reported Near Valentine

Residents in north central Nebraska and south central South Dakota were woken up early Saturday morning, July 21st by slight shaking. The U.S. Geological Survey reported a 3.5 Magnitude earthquake hit Valentine around 2:11 a.m. Saturday morning. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 10 miles north of Valentine on the state line.

There are no reports of damage or any injuries.
