Ainsworth City Council Approves One and Six Year Street Plan and Discusses Paving Districts

At the regular meeting of the Ainsworth City Council on February 10th, the Council approved the annual One and Six Year Street Plan.

Each year the Council reviews plans for improving streets in Ainsworth. Approval and submission of the plan to the State of Nebraska provides state funds which is the majority of the Street Department’s budget.

Lloyd Smith of Niobrara Valley Consultants presented this year’s plan to the council.
