Alberts and Papstein Sworn in by City Attorney Palmer to Serve on Long Pine City Council

Under new business during the December 6, 2018 meeting of the Long Pine City Council, City Attorney Rod Palmer gave the oath of office to newly elected councilmen Linda Alberts and Kathy Papstein. Their terms will end in 2022.

The council approved under the consent agenda the minutes for the November 1st regular meeting, treasurer’s report, approval of claims and payroll summary.

Health Board

Mayor Ed Brown stated the new owner of the Deaver grain bins has begun operations. A lot of work has been done to get the business operational again so the board will consider this issue closed.
