The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) will hold a public information open house regarding proposed improvements to a U.S. Highway 20 (US-20) bridge over Long Pine Creek in Brown County. The meeting will be held at Long Pine Palace, 485 N. Main Street, in Long Pine, on March 28th , 4:00-6:00 p.m.

The proposed project would repair the US-20 bridge located at approximately MM 250.11, 1.70 miles west of the Brown/Rock county line. The improvements would consist of reconstructing the bridge abutments and the abutment spread footings. A portion of the bridge deck on each end would be removed and replaced to accommodate this work. The bridge approach sections would be reconstructed, and the guardrail would also be replaced with surfacing underneath.
