What a wonderful week we have had. Temperatures got up to 70 on one day and the wind hardly blew. I was wondering if I was in Nebraska. We are very dry. The weather is perfect for calving.

I hope everyone enjoys this week because we can all complain about the time change come Sunday.

John Connell of Long Pine received 4th at district wrestling in O’Neill on Saturday. Trevor Burdick of Wood Lake was the champion in his division.

Calvin and Sherry Goochey traveled to Cottonwood, AZ to visit her parents, Duane and Irma Lovegrove this past week. The Lovegroves are doing great.

Nancy and Jim Campbell of Springview, and Travis and Rylan Hobbs visited Arvin and Joyce Schmidt on Saturday.

Ruth Allen and Merlyn Hambleton had Brandy, Shelby and John Connell of Long Pine as dinner guests on Friday. The kids were on spring break.

I enjoyed the high school state basketball games on television on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The same schedule will be held this week but with the boys. It is hard to believe how good the girls play.

There was a music concert including band and choir on Tuesday evening at the school for 5th - 12th grade. Many family members attended
