Long Pine City Council Tables Two Items: Livestock Permit Form/Fee and Fireworks Resolution
With several items for consideration and discussion, the Long Pine City Council - Linda Alberts, Kathy Papstein, Aaron Miller and Teresa LeMunyan, met on Tuesday, July 9th (since their regular meeting date fell on the 4th of July) voted to table two agenda items - wording for a fireworks resolution and consideration of approving the livestock permit forms and application fee of $25.00.
Fireworks Resolution
The Council heard several complaints about the recent fireworks being shot off during all hours of the day and night leading up to the 4th of July and about the ones that appeared to be very loud, possibly not legal fireworks to shoot in Nebraska. The Council would like to put some type of resolution into place on shooting off fireworks during the Fourth of July and New Year’s Eve.
