Nebraska DOT to Provide Funds for Complete Rebuild of Sand Draw Box Culvert

Brown County Highway Superintendent Kenny Turpin informed the Brown County Commissioners at their regular meeting on April 2nd that the Nebraska Department of Roads will provide 80% of the funds to completely rebuild the Sand Draw Box Culvert on Meadville Avenue.

Turpin told the Commissioners he received an email from Paul Kieper of the Nebraska DOT. In the email, Kieper said, “In visiting the site last Tuesday (March 26th), we observed damages beyond a simple fix and needs a permanent fix done right.”
