Weather Gave Brown County One Last Shot Before 2019 Ended
After having a not-so-white Christmas, the weather changed prior to the new year. It started as rain on Friday, December 27th and the National Weather Service was predicting a large winter storm would sweep northeast through north central Nebraska.
The heavy snow predicted for Saturday, December 28th and Sunday, December 29th didn’t materialize until Sunday. The National Weather Service had predicted up to 12 inches for Brown County. Estimates of six to ten inches of actual snow were given following the storm that ended Monday afternoon, December 30th.
