Wind Chill Temperatures Dip Into the -30s and -40s in Brown County

Ainsworth Community Schools, along with most schools in North Central Nebraska, had a 10:00 a.m. late start on Monday, February 15th due to the extreme cold temperatures. The temperature shown above was taken around 8:00 a.m. Wind chill temperatures were around -42˚. The cold, brutal temperatures were in the forecast until mid-week.
KOLN TV Now Weather showed this map of Nebraska Sunday evening with the predicted future feels like temperatures for Monday, February 15th. The entire state of Nebraska woke up to these brutal negative wind chill temperatures.
