Artz uses feet to help guts

By the time she was about seven years old, Jordan Artz had been struggling with stomach problems for some time, but that year those problems turned into a life-threatening battle. At one point, she could only keep down goat milk and watermelon, and was wasting away. She suffered from horrible headaches, and her legs hurt so badly that she would scream in pain. Eventually she stopped walking because of the leg pain. Her parents, Tammy and Jason, had taken her to doctors and to the hospital so many times without coming up with a proper diagnosis that one doctor told Tammy that it was probably child abuse causing emotional stress to manifest itself this way.

That was when Tammy decided to call her sister, Dawn.
