Catts brings extensive experience to his role as Chief of Police

Douglas Catts is the new chief of police for the City of Gregory. Catts has an extensive background with 38 years’ experience in law enforcement and security.

In New Jersey, Catts worked for a security service, where he was security director, for three years. Prior to that, he was an officer in the Mount Holly Township Police Department in Mount Holly, NJ, for 15 years. While there, he became a detective in the narcotics division and the DARE Officer/School Resource Officer.

He began his career in law enforcement in 1988 as a Correction Officer for the Camden County Sheriff Department, where he served until 1993.
