Democrat Dan Andersson running for SD District 21 senate seat
Dan Andersson of Burke, a Democrat, has announced that he is running for the South Dakota State Senate from District 21. He cited healthcare and education as two of his main campaign focuses. “America and South Dakota are facing many problems, but until we solve basic issues like quality healthcare accessible for all and an education system that allows everyone to thrive to their abilities, it will be difficult to make progress.” he said.
Dan is originally from Sweden and met his wife Anna in London, England, and moved to her home town of Burke, South Dakota in 2014. “Immigration is an incredible resource when handled right, it made America stronger in the early days, and America still needs immigrants, both skilled and unskilled. But immigration reform is needed to meet the needs of the modern world.”
