Dwindling BID fund means good news for business growth

Library touts a full schedule

Head Librarian Tara Engel was beginning a busy week. On Tuesday, she is scheduled to deliver books on wheels, Wednesday is the day for the library board meeting, Thursday she will go to the school for “Read for the Record” for the begindergarten through third grade classes; they will be reading “Thank you, Ahmu,” a book that will be read by students across the country through this program. As part of this, she will be teaching the students how to say “thank you” in a foreign language and they will make a gratitude jar to take home to their families.
