Four pieces advance to state oral interp. festival

The Gregory oral interpretation team traveled to Pierre for the region contest on November 18. The competition started at 9:00 a.m. at the Ramkota Inn. The Gregory Gorillas ended the day with four pieces advancing to state.

Keeley Klein, who competed in the serious category, placed second with the piece “Plain Girl Versus the Demon.” Christian Spann placed first in the storytelling division with his piece “The Man in the Red Bandana.” In the humorous category, Salma Serr placed first with “The Fart That (Almost) Altered My Destiny.” These three students will advance to state.
