Prairie Treasures, IOOF help raise funds for after-school program

The Gregory School District Board of Education met at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2019.

Oral interp program headlines Gorilla Good News

In the Gorilla Good News section of the meeting, Ronda Graber talked about the oral interpretation team. Nine of the students attended a small competition in Winner earlier this year, which gave them some direction on what needed improvement. The big competition, however, is the local event in which 28 students participated. Mrs. Graber believes that this is the largest group she has ever had. Only ten of these students were able to move on to districts, so it was a very competitive night. All ten of the students who went to districts moved on to regions, scheduled for Monday, November 18, in Pierre. The state competition will take place December 6 and 7 in Yankton.
