Leo Chubb honored as Hometown Hero

Modern Woodmen and Cherry Hills Estates honored Leo Chubb as their Hometown Hero.

Leo enjoyed football and played for Crawford, who were rival teams of Chadron. The two teams played the last game of the season on November 11, where Crawford won. In the playoff game, Leo made three touchdowns and they won 25 to 0! They went on to win the conference!!

Omaha World Herald Greg McBride had picked Chadron to win the conference, with Gordon in second place, and Crawford in third place.

Leo remembers the Junior Pep Girls Club got into a fight on the field in Chadron, where they always played on the college field.
