A look back on 2019, the last year of the decade

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

This final year of 2019 has definitely brought with it many trials for our community, county, state and country. But there’s always good mixed in with the trials which are called silver linings. Let’s find those silver linings and highlight them, while with the trials, we’ll always learn lessons if paying attention closely.

Winter storm Eboni hits over Christmas but not near as fierce as forecasters had for our area. Only two inches of snow fell, but left behind beautiful hoar frost and strong winds gusting up to 48 mph.
