Smithsonian Water/Ways Exhibition a resounding success
VALENTINE, NE – The six-week showing of the Smithsonian Institution traveling exhibition Water/Ways was a resounding success, according to staff of the Niobrara National Scenic River (NSR).
The Niobrara NSR Visitor Center was expressly chosen by Humanities Nebraska to host the exhibition as part of the Museum on Main Street project—a national/state/local partnership to bring exhibitions and programs to rural cultural organizations. Water/Ways is now on view at the Custer County Museum in Broken Bow. The exhibition will continue to tour Nebraska with four additional stops between now and April, 2019. An itinerary is available online at humanitiesnebraska.org/water/.
