After Being MIA for 72 Years, PFC Dale Thompson is Coming Home!

The story has been waiting to be told since his death, December 2, 1950. He grew up in Norden, and it’s possible that you, or members of your family, may remember the day a telegram arrived at Mrs. Mabel Thompson’s home in Valentine. It informed her that her son, PFC Dale Thompson, was missing in action, and was dated January 26, 1951.

Lightning Strikes Pine Tree in Long Pine Cemetery

Dan and Jo Dailey had an unusual alarm Wednesday morning around 5:20 a.m. They heard a big bang when lightning struck a pine tree in the Long Pine Cemetery, approximately 75 yards west of their home, located across the road. Roots were uncovered for about four feet around the base of the tree.

Question: I have white fuzzy stuff on the leaves of my mums, what is it and what should I do? If it is white to gray blotches on the leaves, stems and/or buds it is most likely powdery mildew. It may look like the plant has been sprinkled with baby powder.
