CORRECT SAMPLE BALLOT

As many readers noticed and commented, I goofed up the Sample Ballots in last week's edition of the Ainsworth Star-Journal! I published the front of the Sample Ballot twice, instead of the front and back of the Sample Ballot. So, this week is the correct Sample Ballot (I checked multiple times to ensure I had it correct).

Extreme Drought Conditions Continue in Brown County

All parts of Nebraska are in drought areas. The southwest, north central and north east counties on Nebraska are listed ass extreme to exceptional drought. This included Brown, Rock and Keya Paha counties.

Legislative Notes

Initiative 433 will be on the ballot this coming Election Day. If the voters pass it, it will raise the minimum wage in Nebraska to $15 p/ hr by 2026. This has become the cause célèbre for many on the political left. I oppose initiative 433. I want the people of the 43rd District to understand where I stand on this issue.
