Audrey Lee Moore, 90, of Valentine, peacefully passed into the arms of our Lord December 30, 2019, after a long battle of multiple health complications. Carpenter Memorial Chapel in North Platte arranged cremation. Memorial services are scheduled at First Baptist Church, Valentine, Saturday February 29, 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in her name to the Mary B. Audrey was born September 20, 1929 in Hiawatha, KS. She graduated from Hiawatha High School, Hiawatha, KS and the University of Kansas with an MBA. She loved her family dearly and faithfully served the Lord through missions, music, and community involvement.
She was preceded in death by her parents Homer and Pearl (Holliday) Horn (Hiawatha, KS) brothers Homer Horn (Hiawatha, KS) James Horn (Spring Valley, CA), and sisters Margery Watkins (Riverview, FL), Darlene Bachmann (Topeka, KS), and Shirley Blanton (Topeka, KS); sons Frederick Scholl (Holbrook, AZ) and David Nicholson (Albuquerque, NM); as well as many relatives in the Midwest.
She is survived by Sister in-law Elva Horn (Spring Valley, CA); Nephews Joel & John Horn (La Mesa, CA) and Homer Horn, Jr. (Kingman, AZ); Nieces, Francene Crow and Sue Rush (Moreno, CA) sons, James Scholl (Payson, AZ) and Johnathon Moore (Valentine); plus 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren all in AZ; as well as many relatives in the Midwest.
Although her sunshine has set, it will continue to shine in all those whom she led to the Lord, comforted, befriended, encouraged, and loved in her own special way.
