JR is survived by his wife, Vicky of 56 years; daughters, Shawn (Frank) Kros, Tonya (Bob Jr.) Boyd, son, Travis and grandchildren McKenzie, Keenan, and Alan-Mychal.
JR was born on September 22, 1942 to Arthur and Blanche (Howe) Reagle and raised in the Todd County/Olsonville community. The oldest of four boys (Everrett, Ivan, Leonard) he graduated from Valentine High School in 1960. JR graduated from National School of Business in Rapid City where he met Vicky (Eldridge).
JR and Vicky moved back to the Olsonville area in 1965 where he helped on the family farm and continued his trucking career with his Uncle Alvin Reagle. In the early 1970’s he started JR Reagle Trucking where he hauled livestock, gravel, grain and iron for many years. He continued to ranch and farm during this time. In the 1980’s his brother Leonard joined him in the trucking business. In 1990 JR and Vicky purchased the Antelope Country Inn in Mission and retired from trucking in 1992.

JR knew no strangers and was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, neighbors and those he just met. He was well known for his sense of humor, sarcasm and practical jokes. He was a collector of many things- to name a few- trucks, caps, eagles and stories. He enjoyed conversations and road trips to the end.
