Ainsworth Bulldogs Drop Two Games, Losing to Burwell and Minden

The Ainsworth Bulldogs traveled to Burwell on January 5th to play the 9-0 Burwell Longhorns and were defeated 52-70.

The Dawgs then hosted Minden on January 8th and lost to the Whippets, 54-60. The Dawgs’ record stands at 3-7 for the season.

Burwell

Burwell jumped to an eight point lead in the first quarter, scoring 17 to Ainsworth’s nine points.

Ainsworth fell farther behind in the second quarter, scoring 15 points to Burwell’s 21 points. Burwell took a 38-24 lead into halftime.
