Ainsworth Bulldogs Ruin Neligh-Oakdale’s Homecoming with 38 to 34 Win

With just over a minute to play in regulation, the Ainsworth Bulldogs were down by four points to Neligh- Oakdale in their second game of the 2018 season.

Ainsworth Quarterback Oren Pozehl connected with Gage Delimont for a touchdown. The Dawgs made the two point conversion and took the lead 38 to 34.

Neligh-Oakdale had been racking up yards through the air and with less than a minute left in their Homecoming game, they went back to their passing game and were soon at the Dawg’s 13 yard line with about 40 seconds left in the game. Ainsworth’s defense stiffened and held the Warriors on four successive downs to earn a hard fought victory over the Neligh-Oakdale Warriors and ruin the Warriors hopes for a Homecoming win.
