Bulldog Football Team Aims for Playoffs During First Year of 8-Man Eligibility

In their first year of playoff eligibility since switching to 8-man football, the Ainsworth Bulldog Football Team will spend the 2018 season looking to develop their junior talent and rebuild after losing key offensive players.

“For the last two seasons, we have been ineligible for the playoffs and have played for pride alone,” said head coach Jake Nelson. “This year we have extra incentive and now have the possibility of making it to the playoffs for the first time since 1992. We have our eyes set first on winning our district and then on hopefully not just making it to the playoffs, but we believe we can be competitive and possibly win some games in the playoffs.”
