Conner Jackman Places 2nd at Southwest Conference Wrestling Meet Held in Minden

The Ainsworth wrestlers travelled to Minden for the Southwest Conference Wrestling on Saturday, February 2nd. Placing for Ainsworth’s varsity team was Conner Jackman, who finished in 2nd place in the 195 lb. weight class.

Conner Jackman 195 Pounds - 2nd Place

Quarterfinal - Received a bye. Semifinal - Won by a fall in 0:19 over Alex Quintana of Minden. 1st Place Match - Lost by a 3-1 decision to Colton Duda of Broken Bow. In the JV Tournament the following wrestlers from Ainsworth placed accordingly:

Cash Dailey 126 Pounds - 2nd Place

Round 1 - Won by a 13-4 major decision over Grady Packard of Ogallala. Round 2 - Lost by a fall in 0:50 to Riece Rivera of Valentine. Round 3 - Won by fall in 1:23 over Tyler Michalek of Valentine.
