Sixteen GHS students participate in instrumental small group contest

On Wednesday, February 20, 2019, sixteen Gregory High School students participated in the instrumental small group contest held in Chamberlain.

Soloists receiving a medal were Salma Serr (piano), Christian Spann (piano), Samantha Timanus (piano), Samantha Timanus (trombone), Keeley Klein (alto sax), and Dillyn Harsin (horn),

Groups receiving medals were Grant Thomas, Daniel Ziady, and Gracie Kenzy (trumpet trio); Christian Spann and Haley Wenger (flute duet); Dillyn Harsin, Salma Serr, Keeley Klein, Megan Warnke, Haley Wenger, BriLee Peck, Brooklyn VanDer-Werff, Grant Thomas, Tommy Determan, Coy Determan, Aaron Sundquist, and Jaslee Kerner (percussion group).

Those just missing out on medaling were: Christian Spann, Haley Wenger, BriLee Peck (flute quartet); Christian Spann (flute solo); Coy Determan (piano solo); Dillyn Harsin (alto sax solo); Grant Thomas, Daniel Ziady, Samantha Timanus, Dillyn Harsin, Anna Dargatz, and Aaron Sundquist (brass quintet)
