Steve Camp and Carter Camp of Bassett overcame a two-shot deficit and defeated Nick Martin and Kyle Jackman of Ainsworth in a playoff to capture the championship flight title of the annual Border Bash Golf Tournament held Saturday at the Bassett Country Club and Sunday at the Ainsworth Golf Course.

Nick Martin’s 2-under par 34 held off Brett Knoetzel by one shot for the top round Thursday during men’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course. Chuck Whitney, Graig Kinzie and Heath Rudnick posted rounds of 38, followed by Cam Palmer, Dane Sears and Kevin Martin with rounds of 39.

Danielle Palmer, Brenda Konkoleski, Chelsey Peterson and Rylee Pierce carded a 1-over par scramble score of 37 Wednesday to pace the field during the final night of women’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course.

Ann Hoch, Jen Martin and Wendy Wilkins fired a 2-under par scramble score of 34 Wednesday to claim the top spot during women’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course. The team of Ashley Martin, Lydia Welke, Rachel Schumacher and Paige Wilkins carded a 1-over par 37, followed by the team of Deb Weiss, Jen Marlatt, Caren Fernau and Hayley Williams with a scramble round of 39.

Steve Camp fired a 1-over par 73 Sunday to capture the championship flight of the annual Men’s Open Golf Tournament on aswelteringdayattheAinsworth Golf Course. After a 4-over par 40 on the first nine, Camp shot a 3-under par 33 on the second nine to win by one shot over Nick Martin and Joel Klammer, who both finished with rounds of 74.

Nick Martin’s even-par round of 36 was the best of the night Thursday during men’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course. Noah Graff and Kyle Jackman finished one shot back with rounds of 37.

The team of Ann Hoch, Jen Martin and Wendy Wilkins carded an even-par scramble score of 36 to lead the field Wednesday during women’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course. Kathy Worrell, Julie Micheel and Stephanie Kinzie shot a 1-over par scramble round of 37, followed by the team of Ashley Martin, Lydia Welke and Rachel Schumacher and the team of Amy Simonson, Kat Kennedy and Dixie Kennedy each shot rounds of 39..

Keian Fischer’s 1-under par round of 35 claimed the top spot Thursday during men’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course. Fischer finished one shot clear of Heath Rudnick and Brett Knoetzel, who posted even-par rounds of 36.

Brenda Konkoleski and Monica Smeal carded a 2-under par round of 70 to win the championship flight of the women’s two-person scramble golf tournament Saturday at the Ainsworth Golf Course. Nicole Johnson and Stephanie Kinzie won a scorecard playoff over Kayla Fischer and Kari Anderson for second place after both teams finished with evenpar rounds of 72.
