The weekend of October 17-19 was a great one for two sisters from Ainsworth, Kinsey and Kieley Walz. The Kimes Ranch Million Dollar Breakaway qualifier occurred at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma, in conjunction with the CN Production’s event, Oklahoma’s Richest.

The AHS Football Team travelled to Elgin on Friday, October 17, to take on the Elgin Public/Pope John Wolf Pack. In the first quarter, both teams were held scoreless.

Senior Kaden Seidel finished his last race as an Ainsworth Bulldog, placing 44th with a time of 20:32.

Girls Cross Country Team Wins District Meet and Qualifies for State

The AHS Girls Cross Country Team qualified as a whole by winning the D-3 District meet hosted at the Ainsworth Municipal Golf Course on Thursday, Ocotber 16. The winning team consists of (left - right): Coach Trey Schlueter, Izzy Painter (38th place), Raegan Moody (second place), Payton Moody (20th place), Kiley Orton (fourth place), Addilyn Doke (33rd place), and Coach Katie Winters.

After not having any matches for over a week, the Bulldogs played in a triangular in Bassett against the Stuart Broncos and North Central Knights. The team went 1-1 during the triangular, picking up a win in two sets against Stuart 25-20, 25-14.

The AHS Football Team travelled to Creighton on Friday, October 10, to take on the Creighton Bulldogs. In the first quarter, Ainsworth scored 14 points, falling behind Creighton, who scored 24.
