Three teams finished with evenpar 36 scramble rounds Wednesday during women’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course. The team of Ann Hoch, Wendy Wilkins and Jen Martin, the team of Kathy Worrell, Steph Kinzie and Jen Marlatt, and the team of Chelsey Peterson, Rylee Pierce, Danielle Palmer and Brenda Konkoleski all finished at even par.

Cory Brodbeck claimed the top spot Thursday during men’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course with a 1-under par round of 35. Brodbeck finished one shot clear of Nick Martin, who carded an even-par round of 36. Cody Goochey posted a round of 38, followed by Cam Palmer with a round of 39.

The team of Kathy Worrell, Stephanie Kinzie and Julie Micheel fired a 2-under par scramble round of 34 to lead the field Wednesday during women’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course. Ashley Martin and Lydia Welke finished two shots back with a round of 36.

Leesh Yellowhawk and Tagg Buechle were awarded the Most Valuable Player awards for the tournament, and were awarded rings. Buechle took home three championship rings from the tournament after winning the home-run derby, being named MVP, and being a player on the first place team.

Rich Crow Eagle’s 4-under par round of 68 captured the championship flight of the annual Ainsworth Men’s Open Golf Tournament Sunday. Crow Eagle finished eight shots clear of four golfers who carded 4-over par rounds of 76. Logan Cate won the scorecard playoff for second, with Cory Brodbeck finishing third. Doug Weiss and Keian Fischer also shot rounds of 76.

Kyle Jackman fired a 1-under par round of 35 to pace the field Thursday during men’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course. Jackman finished one shot clear of Robert Magill and Graig Kinzie, who posted even-par rounds of 36. Nick Martin shot a 38, followed by Noah Graff, Jaxon Rucker, John Pierce, Cody Goochey, Kevin Martin, Doug Weiss and Brett Knoetzel with rounds of 39.

On July 3, the Ainsworth Municipal Golf Course hosted its youth tournament. Fifty golfers competed in different age categories.
