Three seniors were presented with 12-sport athlete awards Tuesday during the 57th annual Ainsworth High School All-Sports Tailgate Party. Preselyn Goochey, Morgan Kinney and Ryan Salzman competed in three sports during all four years of their high school careers.

The middle school golf season is well underway, and the Bulldogs have played in three meets; Summerland, North Central, and the Stuart Invites. At Summerland, the team finished third with Callen Pierce earning the fourth place medal and Nathan Fernau receiving the sixth place medal.

On Friday, April 25, the Ainsworth Music Department traveled to O’Neill, to participate in the District Music Contest. The Ainsworth Band performed in the morning during the large group portion of the day.

The State FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) Convention took place in Lincoln at Pinnacle Bank Arena on April 6-8. Payton Moody and Ady Sears earned silver in Interior Design, Isabelle Arens and Miranda Lambrecht also received silver medals in Nutrition and Wellness. Addilyn Doke earned the title of State Champion in Fashion Construction and advances to Nationals in Orlando this July.

On April 23, the Ainsworth High School boys golf team travelled to O’Neill to compete in the O’Neill Invitational.
