“Lost Our Normalcy A Year Ago”

It is hard to believe that we lost all sense of normalcy a year ago this month when COVID-19 hit the United States. Hopefully we are getting closer to being back to what we used to call “normal” before COVID-19 hit. Many states are now opening all their businesses and removing the mask mandates. Hopefully, we are headed in the right direction and COVID-19, will be behind us!

“English Is Hard!!?!?!?”

After you read this article, you will understand why English is not an easy subject. Words are spelled the same, but pronounced different and mean something else.

3. The dump was so full it had to refuse refuse.

4. We polish Polish furniture.

5. He could lead if he would get the lead out.

6. The man decided to desert his dessert in the desert.

7. Since there is no time like the present, he thought it was time to present the present.

8. When shot at, the dove dove into the bushes.

9. I did not object to the object.

10. The insurance for the invalid was invalid.

11. There was a row among the oarsmen about how to row.
