Drivers Be Aware: Highway 20 Reduced Speed Limit Signs Moved Farther Out; Project Construction to Begin April 11th

Driving from the west on Highway 20 towards Ainsworth, the 35 mph speed limit sign was moved from just west of city limits to just east of 430th Avenue. The 45 mph sign and the reduced speed ahead signs were moved westward accordingly. This was done ahead of construction on the Highway 20 Rehabilitation project through Ainsworth, which will begin Monday, April 11th with the widening of the highway on the north side.

In late March, the speed limit signs that inform drivers of speed reductions on Highway 20 as they enter the City of Ainsworth were moved further east and west of the city boundaries.
