State FFA Convention: Wearing Blue and Winning Gold

Receiving their State Degrees were (Front Row - Left to Right): Libby Wilkins, Summer Richardson, Wryllie Killion, Alyssa Erthum, Maia Flynn and Haley Schroedl; (Back Row): Eden Raymond, Cash Reynolds, Ty Schlueter, Ben Flynn, Tom Ortner, Maren Arens and Shelly Saner.

It was announced during the final session at the State Convention that AHS senior Libby Wilkins has been selected to serve on the 2022-23 Nebraska State FFA Officer team as the Vice President.

Senior Maren Arens was the State Champion in Employment Skills.

The Ag Sales team finished in third place; team members were (Left to Right): Libby Wilkins (ninth place individual), Maren Arens (red ribbon), Tom Ortner and Alyssa Erthum (second place overall individual).

The Ag Demonstration team was awarded a silver ranking for the demonstration of creating a corsage; team members were (Left to Right): Lauren Ortner, Makenna Pierce Gracie Petty and Shelly Saner.

Ainsworth’s State Finalists in Proficiencies were (Left to Right): Kieley Walz, Tom Ortner, Libby Wilkins, and Trey Appelt. Libby will represent Nebraska at the National Convention in her Swine Placement Proficiency.
