Area residents are invited to jumpstart the summer on Saturday, May 23, by joining a community river and road cleanup in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Niobrara National Scenic River. Jaylee Good Selected to Attend Cornhusker Girls State

Jaylee Good, daughter of April and Jason Good, has been selected to attend American Legion Auxiliary Cornhusker Girls State. This year’s session will be held on the University of Nebraska- Lincoln campus the week of May 31-June 6.

Brown County Commissioners Hold Final Meeting of April

During their meeting on Tuesday, April 21, the Brown County Commissioners approved providing a warranty deed to the purchaser of property on Main Street in Long Pine. The county received a lot with a dilapidated building due to the lack of property tax payments over time.
