The Ainsworth American Legion has been fundraising for a new HVAC system. According to Wes Luther, the Legion’s heating system is very old and does a poor job of heating the building.

The city of Ainsworth has received a grant to help complete improvement projects at East City Park. City Administrator Lisa Schroedl said the $40,000 grant from a private foundation will assist in completing the new pickleball and basketball courts, placing a handicap-accessible chair lift at the Ainsworth Swimming Pool and upgrading amenities to make the park more enjoyable for residents of all ages.
