Annual Alumni Golf Scramble Held at Ainsworth Golf Course

The team of Steve Camp, Carter Camp, Jake Friedrich and George Friedrich won a playoff over the team of Nick Martin, Keaton Gracey, Landon Welke and Rob Maxwell for the championship flight title of the annual Ainsworth Alumni four-person scramble golf tournament at the Ainsworth Golf Course.

Jen Martin’s 5-over par round of 41 put her three shots clear of the field Wednesday during women’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course. Heather Lutter posted a round of 44, followed by Lydia Allen with a 45.

Robert Magill fired a 3-under par round of 33 to pace the field Thursday during men’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course. Doug Weiss and Nick Martin were also under par Thursday with rounds of 35.

Heather Lutter edged two golfers for the low round Wednesday during women’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course with a 5-over par round of 41. Jen Martin and Brenda Konkoleski finished one behind Lutter with rounds of 42.

The low round Thursday during men’s league golf at the Ainsworth Golf Course belonged to Nick Martin with a 1-under par 35. Chester Smith fired a round of 38, followed by Kevin Martin with a round of 39.

UNK Announces Dean’s List for 2026 Spring Semester

The University of Nebraska at Kearney announced students who earned a place on the dean’s list for the spring 2026 semester. Students who are on the dean’s list must have completed 12 credit hours or more of classes with a 3.5 grade-point average or better on a 4.0 scale.
