One of the devil’s most dangerous schemes is to hypnotize believers into accepting that there is nothing to worry about, so is the secret rescue of Christians from the tribulation, causing a false security that leads to an attitude of apathy and lukewarmness?

August 31 A traffic stop was made in Ainsworth. The driver was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol and cited for minor in possession of alcohol and possessing an open alcohol container.

The Ainsworth Community Schools Board met for its monthly meeting along with their budget hearing and tax request hearing for the 2025-26 fiscal year. The board met at 7 p.m.

The 90th annual Brown County Fair and Rodeo took place Labor Day Weekend, August 29 - September 1. The fair was set to kick off with the Annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 30, however, Brown County received a few inches of rain that left the fairgrounds and arena a muddy mess.
