Dean S. Jochem, 85, of Ainsworth, NE, passed away on July 28, 2024, at Brookestone View in Broken Bow, NE. Dean was born in Ainsworth, NE, on July 30, 1938, to parents Oscar and Pearl (Claver) Jochem. He and his older sister, Barbara, were raised on the ranch his father acquired in 1937. After graduating from Ainsworth High School in 1956, Dean went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1960 before returning to join his dad ranching on the family land in 1966.

Stanley Guy McNabb, age 64, passed away on July 18, 2024, in Ainsworth, NE. Stan was born on September 15, 1959, in Twin Falls, ID. He and his brother, Scott were later adopted by his parents Richard H. and Luella “Jody” (Dixon) McNabb. Stan grew up in Salt Lake City, UT and graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1978.

Funeral Service for Sue E. Weston, age 77, of Springview, NE will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Springview Methodist Church. A Private Family Burial will precede the funeral service in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Springview. Sue Weston died Friday, August 2, 2024 at the Harbor at Calvert in Lincoln, NE.

Memorial Service for Dean S. Jochem, age 85 of, Ainsworth, NE was held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 in the Zion Lutheran Church in Ainsworth. Inurnment followed in the Lutheran Cemetery northwest of Ainsworth. Dean Jochem passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Brookstone View in Broken Bow, NE.

Karen (Mawhinney) Buckley, 74, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, in her home. A mother of seven, grandmother of 26, and great-grandmother of 15, Karen leaves behind a large loving family, including her devoted and loving husband of 36 years, Don.

Richard “Dick” Colburn was born on February 23, 1928 to Howard S. and Elizabeth Arnold Colburn in Valentine, NE.

David Wayne McNally of Springfield, MO was born on August 19, 1948 and passed away on July 17, 2024. Dave grew up in Ainsworth, NE with his parents Dale and Maxine (Shaul) and his brothers, Ron, Mike and Steve.

January 29, 1922—June 30, 2024 Laura Vianna (Teleen) Hughes was born on January 29, 1922 in Ainsworth, NE to Wallace and Nettie (Hildebrand) Teleen. She passed away in Sierra Vista, AZ on June 30, 2024 at the age of 102.

A Memorial Service for Stan G. McNabb, age 64 of Long Pine, NE, will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ainsworth Free Church near Ainsworth, NE. Inurnment with Military Honors by Ainsworth American Legion Post #79 will follow in the Grandview Cemetery at Long Pine. Stan McNabb died July 18, 2024 in Ainsworth.

Coralee Yvonne (Keefauver) Barrow of Long Pine, NE passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, in her home at the age of 88, with her children at her side. Coralee was born February 4, 1936 (which is NOT Groundhog’s Day, a long running joke in the family), to Mabel Opal (Rockford) Keefauver and James Lebright Keefauver in Columbus, NE.
