Judy McGuire passed away peacefully on August 27, 2023 at Bryan Memorial Hospital, at the age of 80. She is survived by three children, Debra McGuire, Jason McGuire, and Mayde (Mary) McGuire, all of Lincoln; two sisters, LaVeta Sargent of Lincoln, and Bonita Parks of Ord; and by six grandchildren, Morgan, Rian, Devan, Haydn, Cooper, Kaia and one on the way.

Hazel M. Langer, 79, of Gettysburg, SD passed away Friday, August 25, 2023, at Avera Gettysburg Hospital.

Larry William Hissong, 71, of Ord, NE, passed away on August 26, 2023, at CHI Good Samaritan in Kearney, NE, surrounded by family and friends. He was born on January 26, 1952, in Troy, OH, the son of the late Harvey and Virginia (Denison) Hissong.

Leland “Lee” Dale DeGroff, age 85 of Brewster, NE passed away August 24, 2023, at his home in Brewster. Leland, fondly known as Lee, was born to Gerald and Jane DeGroff on March 31, 1938, in Burwell, NE.

Charles R. Anthens, born on October 29, 1931, in Ainsworth, NE, to the late Charles E. and Myrtie Heaton Anthens, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. His life was marked by dedicated service to his country, a brilliant career in electrical engineering, and a deep love for travel, sports and animals.

Ruth Eleanor Sullivan, age 95 of Broken Bow, NE passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Brookstone View in Broken Bow, surrounded by her family. Ruth was born February 5, 1928, at the family ranch a half mile west of Elsmere, NE to Charles M.

Funeral Services are pending at the Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth for Lloyd J. “Sunny” Alderman, age 98 of Lebanon, OR formerly of Newport, NE. Sunny Alderman died Saturday, August 26, 2023 in the Oregon Veteran’s Home in Lebanon.

Gerry Franklin Graham was born on September 23, 1939 at Ainsworth, NE to Casey (Frank) and Alice Graham of Springview, NE. Gerry died at home on August 15, 2023 at the age of 83 surrounded by family.

Douglas E. Kuhre was born on December 20, 1952 to Loring and Beryl (Edwards) Kuhre at Ainsworth, NE. He married Carol Bussinger on November 10, 1973 at Bassett, NE. To this union four daughters were born - Kara, Katie, Kimberly and Ki.

Dwayne “Wink” Mundorf, age 75 of Omaha, NE, formerly of Long Pine, NE, passed away in his home on August 3, 2023. Per his wishes, there will be no service.
