Beverly “Bev” Newport, 86 of Ravenna, NE, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Seneca Sunrise Assisted Living in Ravenna. Bev was born October 11, 1936 in Hayes Center, NE to Owen and Maxine (Younkers) Nickels.

David Ajin, 11

Funeral Service for David Ajin, age 11, of Ainsworth, NE will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. in the Evangelical Free Church at Ainsworth. Additional services and burial will occur in Honduras at a later date. David Ajin died Saturday, December 24, 2022 at his home in Ainsworth.

Kenneth A. Falk, 85

Kenneth Arnold Falk was born on January 4th, 1937 on the family farm near Murdock, MN, the youngest of three children born to August V. and Mamie A. (Anderson) Falk. He grew up on the farm and was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his youth.

Daniel L. Bennett, 89

Daniel Harry Bennett, peacefully entered his eternal rest on December 11, 2022, at Cottonwood Villa in Ainsworth, NE at 89 years of age. Daniel was born on May 30, 1933 in Grand Island, NE to Harry John Bennett and Barbara Sophia (Coufal) Bennett. Daniel, (known as “Dan” to all he met) grew up in the Sandhills near Rose, NE until he was drafted into the United States Army where he served his country in the Korean War. Upon his discharge, he came back to settle in the Sandhills. He married Rhonda Kay O’Neel and to this union five children were born.

Daniel H. Bennett, 89

Word has been received of the death of Daniel H. Bennett, age 89, of Ainsworth. He passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022 in the Cottonwood Villa in Ainsworth. A private family inurnment will be held in the Rose Hill Cemetery northeast of Rose at a later date.

Kenneth A. Falk, 85

A Memorial Service for Kenneth A. Falk, age 85 of Ainsworth, NE, will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth. Inurnment will occur at a later date in the Bethesda Lutheran Cemetery in Murdock, MN. Ken Falk died Saturday, December 10, 2022 CHI Health Bergan Mercy in Omaha.

Craig W. Lambley, 63

Craig William Lambley, 63, of Akron, CO, passed away on December 4, 2022. He was born on December 19, 1958 in Ainsworth, NE to Marion “Bill” Benton Lambley and Bonnie Lee (Stoltenberg) Lambley. The youngest of five, and the only boy, Craig was doted on by his four sisters, Carol, Cathy, Connie and Chris.

Major (Retired) Claude L. Reyman, 88

Major (Retired) Claude Lou Reyman was born on October 29, 1934 in Ainsworth, NE to Bruce Abraham Reyman Sr. and Edith Mildred (Hutchinson) Reyman. Claude grew up on his parent’s cattle ranch outside of Wood Lake, NE. Claude passed away on November 19, 2022 at age 88 in Lincoln, NE. He was surrounded by his daughter Colonel (Retired) Lynda Marie Granfield and son-in-law Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Christopher Thomas Granfield Claude met Yvonne “Vonnie” Marie Marlatt during high school in Ainsworth, NE, and they were married at the Congregational Church in Ainsworth on July 24, 1960. Claude and Vonnie moved to Lincoln where they lived over 60 years. They had two children, daughter Lynda and adopted son Cory Reyman. When Vonnie passed in May 2021 they had been married almost 61 years.

Franki L. Biltoft, 39

Franki Louise Biltoft was born on January 31, 1983, to parents Frank Earl and Kathryn Jo (Hapke) Biltoft of Long Pine, NE. She was the fifth child of this union. At a young age the family moved to Ainsworth, NE. Upon the death of her mother in 1989, her father remarried and she gained another two siblings giving her six sisters and one brother.

Robert G. “Bob” Buckles, 71

Robert G. “Bob” Buckles passed away at the age of 71 at the Sandhills Care Center in Ainsworth, NE.
