Edith Mae Keller was born September 2, 1924, on the old Magee place south of Johnstown, NE to Jens Gade Andersen and Kirsten (Nielsen) Andersen. She was the third child and the only girl in a family of three brothers, Einar, Elmer and Donovan.

Jo Ann (Lanz) Babcock was born April 4, 1936 in Stuart, NE to Fred and Emma (Haug) Lanz. Jo was the youngest of three daughters. She and her sisters had many cousins and spent a lot of time with them.

The family of James Lurz, would like to let his many friends and family know of his passing on March 2, 2022. Survivors include, Laura (Robert) Cordes of HeHirger, ND, Chad Lurz and Mike Lurz of Ainsworth, James Jr.

Stanley G. Burkinshaw passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022, at his home in Creighton, NE. He was born on May 31, 1932 on a farm three miles south of Jamison, NE. He was the youngest of five children born to Gurdon and Dollie (Goodwin) Burkinshaw. He graduated from Long Pine (Nebraska) High School in 1951. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force, retiring after 20 years as a Master Sergeant.

A graveside service for Brenda Faye Prill, age 82, of Atkinson, NE was held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Page Cemetery in Page, NE with Pastor Dennis Quigley officiating. Brenda passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Parkside Manor in Stuart, NE. Memorials are suggested to Norfolk Rescue Mission, The Salvation Army, or Shoe Box Ministry. Arrangements are entrusted to Biglin’s Mortuary of O’Neill, NE.

A memorial service will be held at a later date for Stanley G. Burkinshaw, age 89 of Creighton and Long Pine, NE.

Word has been received of the death of Jo Ann Babcock, age 85 of Bassett, NE. Per her wishes, no services will be held. A Private Family Inurnment at the Grandview Cemetery in Long Pine, NE will take place at a later date. Jo Ann passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the Rock County Hospital in Bassett.

A memorial service for Edith M. Keller, age 97 of Bassett, NE will be held at a later date.
