Mildred Lillian Blomquist was the second twin born November 1, 1936 to Emil C. and Orpha P. (Stufft) Blomquist at the Ainsworth Hospital in Ainsworth, NE. She lived on a ranch in central Brown County with twin sister Mary, older brother Charles and her parents.

Michelle Lynn (Thornton) Sterup, age 48, of Osceola, NE, passed away April 2, 2021 at Bryan East in Lincoln. Michelle was born May 22, 1972 to Johnny Ray and Janice LoRee (Duey) Thornton in Superior.

Gary Wayne Kinzie was born December 1, 1946, in the Lynch Community Hospital, in Lynch, NE, the first of four sons born to Wayne and Vivian (Fernau) Kinzie. He was joined at home by brothers Terry in 1948, Randy in 1949 and Craig in 1964. Gary was responsible for naming his youngest brother instead of Vivian’s preference of Joel.

Joyce Ann Williams, 84, of Overland, KS, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2021. Joyce was born on April 21, 1936, the fifth child of Garner Webster Gaylord (1896-1968) and Lillie May (Blomquist) Gaylord (1895-1957).

A memorial service for Gary W. Kinzie, age 74 of Ainsworth, will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021at 9:00 a.m. at the Hoch Funeral Home in Ainsworth. Inurnment will follow in the Butte Cemetery at Butte, NE. Gary Kinzie died Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the Brown County Hospital in Ainsworth.

Memorial services for Gary A. Bellingtier, age 73, of Battle Creek, NE were held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Avenue. Reverend Paul Harder officiated. Home for Funerals was in charge of arrangements.

Betty Jean Fernau, age 88, of Ainsworth, NE left this earthly life Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the Brown County Hospital in Ainsworth. She was born April 29, 1932 in Lincoln, NE to Edward Fred Greenough and Harriett L. (Witt) Greenough. Betty graduated in 1950 from Ainsworth High School. On June 5, 1951 she married the love her life for 70 years, Donald R. Fernau at Ainsworth. To this union, a son, Ronald Ray, was born on February 8, 1955.

Clifford “Gene” Jones, age 79 of Kearney, NE passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Mt. Carmel Home in Kearney. Funeral services were held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney. Interment followed at the Kearney Cemetery.

On Thursday, March 11, 2021 Carol Avis McBride, 79, devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed from this world into the loving arms of God surrounded by loved ones. Carol was born April 6, 1941 at home north of Stuart, NE to James Hoffman and Margaret (Papke) Hoffman.
