Ainsworth Tracksters Earn Four Medals at NSAA State Track

Cameryn Goochey competed in the Girls Long Jump for Ainsworth in her first state track meet, jumping 13’ 11.75”.

Eden Raymond jumped a personal best of 34’ 4.25” in the Triple Jump at the 2021 Class C State Track Meet.

Carter Nelson cleared 6’ 8” in the Class C Boys High Jump to earn first place and a gold medal in the 2021 Class C NSAA State Track Meet in 10:15.78.

Kaitlyn Nelson threw a personal best of 129’ 5” in the Discus to earn a second place silver medal.

Ty Schlueter edged out Tommy Lokken of Wilber-Clatonia at the finish line to earn a third place medal in the Boys 3200 Meter Run in 10:15.78.

AHS sophomore Makenna Pierce sang the National Anthem to open the Saturday, May 22nd events for the 2021 Class C NSAA State Track Meet.

With a strong finish, CeeAnna Beel came from behind and earned an eighth place medal in the Girls 3200 Meter Run in 12:40.22.

Caleb Allen competed in the 110 Meter Hurdles, 300 Meter Hurdles and Triple Jump at the NSAA State Track Meet.

Freshman Katherine Kerrigan competed in her first state track meet. Kerrigan ran to a 12th place finish in the 3200 Meter Run in a time of 12:55.55.

Throwing a personal best of 129’ 5”, Kaitlyn Nelson earned the silver medal in the Girls Discus at the Class C NSAA State Track Meet. Nelson also competed in the Shot Put and again threw a personal best of 36’ 8”.

Finishing up her career in a Bulldog uniform, senior CeeAnna Beel competed in the 3200 Meter and 1600 Meter runs for Ainsworth, earning an 8th place medal in the 3200 Meter Run with a time of 12:40.22.

Ty Schlueter edged out Tommy Lokken of Wilber-Clatonia for third place in the 3200 Meter Run at the state track meet with a time of 10:15.78.
